Our General English courses are our most popular kind of course. They will improve your overall English language ability. We focus on all the key areas, such as speaking, reading, writing and listening. International students take these courses each year for many reasons. Some wish to improve their English for work, others for study or simply for personal interest.
When you arrive at the college, we will put you in a class that is the right level for you. We will test your English skills and find out more about your goals. Homework will also be given to students after classes. After you finish a course, you will be given a report and certificate. KAE is accredited by the British Council for the teaching of English in the UK, so you can be sure of the quality of our courses.
In addition to classes, KAE students get extra sessions and learning resources. Each week we hold a free news review and conversation classes. There is a Book Lending Library, where students can borrow a book to improve their reading skills. Our students will also have access to our KAE e-learning website, where students can ask questions and practise their English.

This semi-intensive course combines accuracy with fluency. In the mornings, students will increase their knowledge of grammar and vocabulary. In the afternoons, there are classes focused on improving communication skills. This style of teaching allows students learn the rules of English and then put them into practice straight away.
Our intensive course is great for those that need to improve quickly. Students will learn how to use English clearly and accurately within a short period. This course will also educate students on how to use English naturally in everyday situations. Classes focus on accuracy, fluency and pronunciation.
