All college residences are a short walk or tube journey to the College and they are self-catered (meaning you have to provide your own food). Staying with us allows you to be independent whilst being able to make friends with people from all over the world. Our rooms have good quality facilities and every building has a warden to make sure it is safe.

Just over 5 minutes walk from Kensington Academy of English, the Tower of London is officially His Majesty’s Royal Palace and Fortress of the Tower of London. It is a historic castle on the north bank of the River Thames. It was founded toward the end of 1066 as part of the Norman Conquest.

30 minutes walk from Kensington Academy of English, Shakespeare’s Globe is an active, true-to-history reconstruction of the Globe Theatre, an Elizabethan playhouse first built in 1599 for which William Shakespeare wrote his plays.
